Welcome!
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP BECAUSE IT IS THE FIRST
I am so pleased to welcome you.
You are at the start of an enriching, journey of exploration and growth.
With a little regular practise, what we will explore together will enable you to experience greater energy, focus and a deeper inner-calm.
There are many other benefits such as better health and an increased sense of connection and confidence with other people and the world around you.
Below you will find my commitment to you, details of the in-person and online class, helpful things you need to bring and information about class timings and parking.
I will email you separately with one thing it is good to do before coming to your first class.
As a 25 year old young man I was pretty stressed and had only just realised it, I wasn't looking after myself well and was far from happy and connected.
All this changed when I experienced the profound changes that occur when you really develop the skills of releasing tension in body and mind.
I experienced this change primarily because of the inspiration and guidance of my dedicated, compassionate, skilful teacher Christie Butterick. (and because I practised :-)
This experience of transformation affected me so deeply that it became my life's passion to help other people to be well so they would be free to live life on their own terms.
This now means you.
I want you to know that I am committed to your journey; as long as you wish to engage in learning, I will support your exploration and guide you to my fullest.
Thank you for making this choice to commit to your wellbeing and for giving me the opportunity to support you in that.

When we grow and develop, it is entirely normal (and essential!) for there to be challenges. Challenges are the times when most progress is made but they are also the times when people sometimes shy away and stop their practise, Part of my job as a teacher is to support you to find your way through those challenges and to experience the growth and confidence that arises from overcoming them.

To a mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.
